本领域以森林植物非木质资源为研究对象，开展其次生代谢活性物体内代谢和富集机制、提取分离、化学特征、生物转化、化学修饰、生物活性、功能评价及及加工利用研究，开发林源提取物及功能食品、保鲜剂、医药中间体、化妆品和天然饲料添加剂、林源生物农药等。

Processing and Utilization of Plant Extracts

Inthis area ，thesecondary metabolitesand enrichment mechanismsare studied fromthe non-wood resource.the major interests include the extraction,separation, chemical modification, biotransformation, biological activity and function evaluation forsome naturalactive substances,the aim is to develop plant extracts and their functionalproducts.

1.Chemistry，biotransformation and activity evaluation of plant extracts or compounds from the non-wood plantresource, such as ginkgo, pine;

2. Modification and preparation of pharmaceutical intermediates from forest bioactive

extracts or compounds ;

3.Tannin chemistry, such as gallnut, tannin extracts;

4.Tree exudates and gums, such as lacquersap,resinaliquidambaries,shellac;

4 Forestry essential oils and pigments , such as fir, camphor, gardenia;

5 Processing of underforestryfood , such as edible mushrooms, blueberries, Malusasiatica，Hippophaerhamnoides；

6.Quality evaluation of edible woody oils and utilization of woody fatty plants , such as olive, camellia, walnut, etc. .;
